Everything visible in the finished home — from the foundation to the resort‑style backyard — is captured in the per‑square‑foot figure. The only major expenses not included are furnishings and décor.
A Note on Size
Because many fixed expenses (like permitting and site work) don’t change much with square footage, the all-inclusive range above applies primarily to homes 3,000 square feet or larger. Smaller homes may have higher per-foot costs as those fixed expenses are spread across fewer square feet.
